It is exactly one week until The Broker Club’s annual conference. It’s not like we are counting down the days or anything…
Titled The Future of Broking 2024, the event will see industry participants across the buyside, sellside and digital assets ecosystems meet to share expert advice and opinions on the most pressing issues currently facing the capital markets industry. Specifically, the event will hone in on the challenges facing capital markets participants in 2024, with view to answering key questions, such as:
How do capital markets firms continue to make money in this environment?
Do some of the Challenges present capital markets firms with opportunities?
With the additional ‘burdens’ on my capital markets firms in 2024, how do they control/ reduce costs?
The Broker Club is an active community for brokers operating within financial/capital markets. It focuses on providing insight, knowledge and education around market regulations, standards of best practices in compliance, conduct and culture, as well as technology and market innovation. The Broker Club’s unique and extensive network of leading capital markets advisors, consultants and executives provides members with unrivaled access to deep market knowledge, helping to drive operational efficiency and navigate increasingly complex and dynamic regulatory landscapes.
Last year, The Broker Club’s annual conference had 90 participants from 70 firms. Attendance at this year’s event is expected to surpass 100, and will be led by an expert panel of industry speakers, with British ski jumping champion Eddie the Eagle also providing some of his own risk management insights.
We will be helping make up the numbers this year, and will be sharing our insights from the day with you right here on Substack and across our other channels. Stay tuned for that.
